If you are ready to playCome join us and let's make games! Position Summary The person in this position is responsible for developing, designing, testing, coding and integrating games and content. Troubleshoots and debugs software defects. Reviews, interprets, and executes software requirements and specification. Essential Job Functions:
o Performs mid-level design and development of assigned software related projects o Researches and learn new technologies and incorporates them into new systems and products o Tests, integrates, writes, troubleshoots, and debugs software applications Training and/or
Experience:
Four or more years of professional experience in a software development team 4
years with software engineering methodologies. Experience on Agile methodology is a plus. 4
years building and/or maintaining Game Content. Preferably hands on with Unity. Experience working with Game engines (eg:
Unity/XNA/Unreal/Phaser/PlayCanvas). Strong foundation in 2D/3D Math pertaining to game development. Understanding of Physics, AI and Shader development is a plus. Familiarity working with REST web services and consuming XML/JSON. Strong foundation in programming languages like C/C++/C# and/or JS/TS and willingness to learn Web based technologies to work with WebGL based game engines. Experience in debugging an application using the Developer Tools in Browser is a plus. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience with Unit testing and Automated UI testing frameworks is a plus. Have experience working with version control tools such as Git or Perforce. Passionate about their work and have a keen interest for delivering bug free and efficient code. Should be self-driven. Ability to take minimal product requirements and translate to good design and implementation. Experience with rapid prototyping and associated tools is a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work well with others in a team environment Strong working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle. Familiar working with operating systems (Windows/Linux). Enjoy working in a creative environment. Excellent communication skills. Should be able to plan and manage time for individual assignments with little to no supervision. Must be able to obtain and hold Gaming Registrations/Licenses Tolerance to iterative development and acceptance of constructive feedback. Education:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably BSEE, BSCE, BSEET, or BSCS or equivalent work experience
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
